No use of oxytocin and bostin injection for milking.
Breeding strategy is to improve the genetic makeup.
Most common diseases are mastitis, dystocia and heat stress.
Weaning is done at 7-9 months.
9 months and 9 days is the gestation period.
Tail movement restlessness and off feed animals, mounting are signs of heat.
Tagging is done for identification.
Maturity is gained in 22-24 months of age but in 18 months is also required.
There is only artificial insemination no sexual reproduction. No grazing but
only stall feeding.
Fodder and concentrates rations are giving at 10% of body weight. Concentrate
is given at morning and evening as per requirement.
Ecoflee spray and ivermectin were used
there to control external parasites.
Concenterate were consist of maize, wheat bran &
molasses only. All animals were fed the same feed there was no requirement base
feeding system. The management was very poor. Hygienic condition were poor.

node,prescapular lyphnode and parotid lymph node.How to restrain an animal and
the method of blood collection in catttle and donkey also.the different
anesthetic techniques in calf and anesthetic injection sites.
the 2nd day Dr.Imran demonstrated about the age estimation of
different animals mostle sheep/goat,cattle.The restraining of animals and age
determination by dentition for different animals.Hoof triming was also done
there of a goat.
projected dairy farm
In dairy farm,120 total
animals were there Holstein Frisian breed. With about 28 heifers, 40 calves and
52 milking animals.IN lactating animal farm the lenth was 156ft,width 86ft with
slope system 1%.Animal space were 10ft and 1ft for faeces and animal resting
place were cubical(4ftx7ft) for each animal.There were 3time feeding and
milking system.the service period 40-50days.NDAP(tag) were in neck and on the
hoof to observe the animal feeding activities and other activies to monitor
animal health, by hoof tag to monitor animal standing angle and walking
time.CIDRE is also used there at 50-60days after parturation.Conception rate is
52% for mastitis controle every 15days after sub-clinical mastitis test is
done.Average production 34litre per day per animal.the feeeding consist of corn
9kg,silage 25kg and grass 2kg per day per animal.Vaccination were done against
FMD,HS,BEF,BRUCELLA and CLOSTRIDIA.Heat detection is done 6times per
24hours.Ecoflee was used against external parasites.dehorning is done in 1st
week.Before milking and after milking dipping is also done. Heifer farm was
5floor system 18ftcentre,16ft,14ft respectively.feed space were 2-3ft, animal
space were 8-10ft and 25ft for bedding of animals. Cooler fans with sprinkles
were used there sprinkled functional in summer season.
Ruminants Research farm:-

The main goat breeds were
beetal, nachi, dera din panah and agora breed.
The sheep breeds were
thali, sippli and lohi. The feeding were
oat silage 200-300gm/day, 1 time concentrate and 1time fodder. Breeding were
done in march april & oct, November. Weight at birth average 3kg and
doubles after a month. BIRTH rate is in twins ,triplet(1-2%). Deworming were
done after 3monthes. Male to female
ratio was 50%. Animal management was good. Almost 9-10 small sheds for
