How can CSR be implemented effectively?1. Examine and understandThe company’s corporate culture and value has to be understood by everyone in the company. This is the first step and the importance could not be emphasized. The core values of the company, reputation and company actions, these are the company’s culture and value which would influence its employees. Defining of goals would be rather important. Have a strong stand on the causes that resonates with the business culture, then study and research would be needed to see what kind of support would be helpful. Stick with any of the causes that has been chosen and dedicate to it. Know what the company could afford and do not be pressurized to donate more than needed.2. Involve your CustomersIf the decision of causes could not be made within the company, having consumers input might be beneficial. Come up with a list of alternative and ask the viewers and customers of the company’s social media and website visitors to see which causes would they want to see the company support. Having a competition with a potential reward would also bring in participants. Rewards does not need to be very good. It could be just old but usable technology to be donated to underfunded schools under the name of the winning participant. Immediate boost of the company’s financial performance would not be achieved most of the time. It is important leverage clearly and implement sincerely, this could place the company at a positive place publicly, enhance consumer engagement rate and enhance of corporate reputation. Moreover, knowing that the company has truly and sincerely assist someone in need would give a sense of satisfaction. Who are some of the company that also implemented CSR?1.
